Founder and qualified accountant with over 30 years of experience, Ajay has spent the last decade specialising in the dental industry. He played a key role as Financial Controller at Dental Partners, a group backed by August Equity, where he supported the business through rapid multi-site growth and helped deliver a successful benchmark exit. Ajay has a strong track record of improving financial performance, streamlining operations, and leading digital transformation initiatives. He founded Workfin to help businesses achieve greater efficiency and value by modernising finance functions, reducing costs, and uncovering opportunities for growth. Ajay takes a practical, results-oriented approach, working closely with clients to deliver lasting improvements that drive business success.
Donna Cope
COO/CFO
A highly experienced CFO and COO with over 20 years of expertise, Donna has a strong track record of scaling and exiting consumer-facing businesses. Her career includes leading Genesis Partners through to private equity ownership and playing a pivotal role in growing Enamel Dental to 18 clinics, culminating in a successful exit to Trispan LLP-backed Real Good Dental in July 2022. Donna brings strategic and operational leadership to every business she works with, combining financial acumen with hands-on experience in scaling high-growth ventures. Her approach is commercial, pragmatic and focused on delivering results that drive long-term value.
John Cooper
Head of Product
John Cooper is a qualified accountant with extensive experience across a wide range of sectors. Over his career, he has held senior finance roles in both corporate and growth-stage businesses, bringing deep expertise in financial management, governance, and strategic planning. As Co-Founder and Head of Product, John leads the development and delivery of Workfin’s product strategy, ensuring solutions meet client needs while driving innovation and value.

As the founder and Managing Director of Enamel Dental, he scaled the business from a single site to a group of clinics across the UK, leading to a successful exit to Trispan LLP–backed Real Good Dental. With a hands-on approach to growth, Zak has led multiple transactions with both trade and private equity buyers. His focus is on identifying acquisition opportunities, building operational infrastructure, and driving strategic growth across multi-site healthcare businesses.
